Winners of Dancing with the Stars Season 27: Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess

Country music radio personality Bobby Bones has been crowned the winner of Season 27 of Dancing with the Stars! His partner, pro dancer Sharna Burgess, celebrates her first ever win on the show. Bones’ career started in Arkansas, where he was a station hand at KLAZ before being put on the air. Before long, he was working in Austin, TX, on his own show. His show was changed to a country music format after his show moved to Nashville, TN. Named Best Radio Personality by Austin Music Awards from 2004 to 2008, Bones has since been inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame.

Their freestyle dance performance earned them a perfect score. Their win has caused a bit of a controversy, as fans of the show say that out of the finalists, he wasn’t the best dancer. However, you can’t deny his contagious enthusiasm. And really, isn’t that what dancing should be about? He and Sharna stole the show with their upbeat finale number, a freestyle dance to a cover of “The Greatest Show” by Panic! At the Disco. They end their performance with a group “floss”.
