Working at a Dance Studio in Orange County:

shoes for dance studios in Orange CountyWorking in a dance studio, as an office manager, is about so much more than answering phones, responding to emails, scheduling, and cleaning.

A couple months ago, I came into this studio not knowing what to expect, not knowing how people would respond to a new face, another co-worker, or a different voice on the phone. What I have found is that working in a studio is a great experience, one of the best I’ve ever had.

Our owner Jennelle, first of all, is the hardest working, most down-to-earth, and dedicated human being I have ever met in my life. She built a successful business from the ground up, and it’s because she is really incredible at what she does. Not only is she a people person and makes everyone feel at home in her studio, but she is a wonderful businesswoman who has the drive to take her far. Celebrating the second anniversary of being in her new location, she organized an amazing party with hors d’oeuvres, dancing showcases, live music, and more, where guests could take in the liveliness and happiness Bella Ballroom contains.

In terms of our instructors: Joel, Tayler, Ziva, and sometimes Tricia, we have a mix of some of the most incredible dancers. They’re not only talented, but are filled with life, patience, fun, and a true commitment to helping our students, whether preparing for a wedding or not. They have proven to be some of the nicest, most caring people I have in my life over this short span of time and I am always so happy when I leave work because I know I am surrounded by truly amazing individuals who have impacted my life in ways they will never begin to understand.

Lastly, our clients have been astounding, not only to me as a new face, but to each other. Clients compliment one another on the hard work and foster a non-competitive, relaxed, comfortable, and supportive environment wherein they are able to achieve all the goals necessary to have the (wedding) dance skills they always dreamed of, but never thought possible. It has been, and continues to be, a pleasure to watch our clients grow and learn from the instructors and each other.

Working in a dance studio seemed like a new world to me at first, but through the months, has transformed into one of the best choices of my life. Jennelle and her team, as well as our clients, have taught me a lot in a short time and I am looking forward to my future times in the studio and contributing to a business that I believe really does change lives and brings true satisfaction to our clients.
