Harborside Ballroom

The Harborside Grand Ballroom is on the second story of the historic Balboa Pavilion. The grandiose Victorian structure overlooks the Newport Harbor. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a designated Landmark. The Balboa Pavilion first opened in 1905 and is famous for it’s world-renowned cupola. The structure is illuminated by more than 1,400 white lights and was originally built in response to the spacious dance halls of early 20thcentury Europe.

Wedding couple’s seeking to host their celebration in the Pavilion’s Haborside Grand Ballroom can choose from four different wedding reception packages to customize their experience. The Ballroom is a full-service special events facility and hosts dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the seven islands within the peninsula. The Harborside Grand Ballroom can accommodate 50 to 500 guests and has the amenities to provide a personal and unique celebration. Couples may choose to host their bridal shower, engagement party, rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception in this significant venue.

Perfect backdrop for my dream wedding. The staff is friendly and attentive. The banquet coordinators, Vicki and Karen, were extremely helpful with everything from planning the menu to calling my vendors and getting everything set. The views are breath taking especially in the evening. It was a perfect night. Thank you Harborside!!!!–Jasmine, Wedding Wire
