Newland Barn

The Newland Barn of Huntington Beach is an extension of Bartlett Park and is located behind the Newland House Museum. Wedding couples can rent the historic space for their wedding. Brides and grooms who enjoy a do-it-yourself lower cost wedding love this venue. The Newland Barn is a multi-use facility that includes the barn and the enclosed lawn for its events. It’s the perfect space to celebrate a wedding with a romantic, rustic, and chic feel.

The venue can seat 50 within its clubhouse, host 75 guests circulating in the clubhouse, and accommodate 200 guests with the lawn and clubhouse combined. Wedding couples can rent the venue by the hour for some of the most affordable rates in Orange County. The rental includes 12 six-foot rectangular tables, 60 stackable chairs, a complete kitchen, men’s and women’s restrooms, and cleaning supplies. Newlyweds can add a gazebo and lighting strung between the barn and the water tower for an additional fee. Reservations can be made up to one-year prior to a couple’s wedding date. Due to the high volume of requests for reservations, a lottery is held to determine which party will be able to make the reservation.

Brides and grooms considering hosting their wedding ceremony and reception at the Newland Barn can view the event space every Wednesday evening from 5:30pm to 6:30pm when the space offers walk-in viewings.

Newland Barn is a beautiful historical property and provide a great background for my DIY shabby chic wedding. The very affordable price is just for the rental of the property and allows you to get creative with decor, catering and rentals. If your crafty and hands on then you can make this location your own and unique. –Kelly S, The Knot

We were happy to find this spot for our country chic wedding! It is owned by the city so the pricing is by hour and very affordable. You do have to bring in all items (tables, chairs, lighting, food, etc) but that allowed for us to keep our costs down and go with caterers that we wanted to use. You can have beer and wine only but again that keeps the cost down and worked for us! The guy that is at the venue on Wed when you go to preview it is great and is your contact the day of. Use him for recommendations. -Amber M., The Knot
